The 6th Annual ONEHOPE
ACT Today! for Military Families 5k/10k Run/Walk & Family Festival returns
to Tecolote Shores Park, Mission Bay - San Diego on Saturday, April 30, 2016.
Net proceeds from the event benefit military families impacted by autism. Our
5k, 10k and 1 mile race accommodates all runners and walkers. Our family festival
has something for everyone including music, wine & beer garden, 35+ resource
booths and an awesome kids' zone.

| RACE INFO | Description: This local San Diego half marathon runs around beautiful Lake Hodges right off of highway 15. The race starts at West Bernardo Park and crosses the new stone suspension bridge from the South side of the Lake to the North side. After crossing the bridge runners head west along the North Shore trail overlooking the lake. After passing through the marina runners enter a wooded area and run along the lakeshore. This race is an out-n-back. |

INFO | Get your groove on as we race along this scenic waterfront course. Nothing but peace and love at this Scene! Go-go girls, hippie chicks, Woodstock dudes, Sonny & Cher will all be there! What will you wear? The fast, flat course is paved and offers panoramic bay views. The course is great for the first time runner and an opportunity for a seasoned runner to set a new PR. The 60's theme finish line festival is on a grassy knoll and includes a costume contest. Race
participants receive a groovy finisher’s medal for all events, tech shirt
for half marathon, cotton shirt for 10K & 5K. Race is chip timing. So flashback
to the 60's when Hendrix and the Beatles ruled! It's a chance to have a blast
with family and friends while snagging a groovy 2014 medal. |

The Chase is a 5 mile run or a 3 mile walk around Lake Miramar to raise money to help better the lives of ill children. It’s a tongue-in-cheek celebration of the “Ambulance Chasers” who help ill children. It will be great fun for both competitive runners and the not so. Walking works as well. Enjoy beautiful Lake Miramar while helping to better the lives of families with ill children!
